TechWantToTree minimizes data collection. We only collect essential webhook payloads containing event IDs, project names, and commit hashes. We do not store personally identifiable information (PII) beyond what is required for cryptographic validation.
Data is used exclusively to evaluate rule thresholds and trigger verified tree allocations on our immutable ledger. Event metadata is temporarily cached for idempotency and replay attack prevention.
We do not sell, rent, or trade developer data. Allocation records (e.g., funded trees) are shared with certified non-profit planting partners to execute real-world restoration.
All webhook endpoints mandate HMAC-SHA256 signatures. Immutable ledger records are cryptographically secured and decoupled from sensitive infrastructure credentials.
